Family Participation

The participation of families in our school programs is key to the development and delivery of our transformative educational program. We recognize the valuable contributions of fathers and grandparents.

Cultural Celebrations and Ceremonies

The Peace School embraces cultural diversity and encourages children to actively participate in national and religious celebrations and ceremonies that are meaningful to their culture.

Families from various nationalities, cultures and religions hold celebrations at the school each month, sharing their traditions and customs with other families within our school community. These celebrations allow children to share these joyous occasions and invite family members to join the festivities.

We invite families to participate in various cultural programs beyond the school setting and encourage joint programs with other organizations. 

All ideas that foster strong social connections among families are valued and welcomed.

Contribution of Expertise

Your unique expertise and abilities can significantly enrich our educational programs. We regularly invite family members to participate in various lessons and share their knowledge and skills with our children. We encourage visits to your workplace, as these visits provide valuable opportunities for children to learn about business and the economy. 

Family connections too can transform our city into a vast learning center for our school. Your connections with artists, artisans, specialists, and other professionals make our educational programs more diverse and engaging.

Grandparents

Extended family members are an integral part of our school community. Their expertise and abilities are valuable teaching resources.

We warmly welcome grandparents. We offer engaging programs to foster intergenerational connections between children and their grandparents. These programs range from storytelling, music sessions, sharing cherished memories, to promoting the development of essential life skills.

Extracurricular Programs

We believe that education extends beyond the classroom.

We offer a unique program that allows family members to join their children's travel adventures, providing an excellent opportunity for shared experiences and quality time together.

Led by our teachers, these excursions encompass many educational destinations, including museums, shops, companies, galleries, workshops, factories, places of worship, the Zoo, and other educational venues.

Our field trips are carefully designed to align with classroom lessons and enhance the learning experience. They offer enriching activities such as guided walks and park visits and time for exploration.

Community Projects

We actively encourage and support families who are engaged in projects that benefit the community. We value and appreciate all activities benefiting our community and its members.

Meeting with Teachers

Every month, we invite families to meet with their children's teachers. These meetings provide valuable opportunities for families to participate in their children's progress.

Courses and Programs

We provide various short programs and evenings to help parents become more familiar with the school’s teaching approach, gaining deeper insights into how their children are learning. Our topics explore learning, projects, participation, evaluation, trusting in life, listening to children, life experiences and work culture.
